This exhibit includes a selection of distinctive works by invited artists that are engaging on many levels.
Scale is a significant factor in experiencing any piece and the impact of these varied works is heightened by their more intimate and human size. Julie Alland’s sophisticated and sharp witted objects question our contemporary habits. Shane Fero’s animated birds gather in a brilliantly colored clusters. The contemplative vessels by painter, David Hering, invite an exploration on the shifting surface patina. Czech artist, Martin Janecky, exhibiting for the first time in the US, presents a series of fascinating, blown and hand sculpted archetypal heads. Carmen Lozar’s intricate, flameworked tableau are edgy jewels.
We hope you enjoy the captivating works by these and other artists in our current exhibit. |
