| Identified early in his artistic career by critic and historian, Irving Sandler, "as perhaps a major artist in the making", Tony DeVarco returns to the gallery to present poetic photomontage prints. DeVarco takes multitudes of photographuc images, which he later juxtaposes in singular, multdimensional compositions that allow a simultaneous experience of the intimate and the infinite. As the former Director of the Buckminster Fuller Institute, DeVarco, like Fuller, pursues interests in many fields, functioning as a committed visual artist, as well as a specialist in high performance cloud computing and geo-visualization. |
